Welcome to my haystack
An introduction to all the needles we we're about to explore
Hi, first and foremost, congratulations for making it here into my little hiding spot.
I’m Gio and I’ve recently graduated as an Integrated Traditional Chinese Medicine and Five Elements Acupuncture practitioner, yeah that’s a mouthful, so think of me as your friendly neighbourhood acupuncturist.
I’m originally from Italy and based in London (UK) for the past twelve years or so.
Chinese Medicine is a profound passion of mine which touched my soul many years ago, when I met my acupuncturist, I owe it to her the awakening of this passion.
As a patient I remember I was left stunned by the fact that the healing process takes two: the practitioner and the patient to work together; the practitioner by treating and the patient by showing up and be present during the treatment.
It also taught me an hard lesson, I’m human and from time to time I’m going to need some help, something you don’t really think much about in your twenties, when the whole world seems to be your oyster.
Which takes me to… why yet another person writing their own ramblings and occupying precious kilobytes on the internet…
The reason is in part very selfish: it’s a great way to grow when you can put your thoughts out for anyone else to read and interact with, on the other hand I truly hope that part of my ramblings can help someone else by relating to my contents or even learning from whatever I’m writing about.
Anyway, I’m glad you made it here and I hope you wish to walk a little with me and indulge in my pindaric flights, I promise it’ll be fun, hopefully educational and sometimes emotional.
Acugio
